2024 Important Deadlines 

Presidential Primary Election - April 2, 2024

Registering to vote for the first time: March 23

Submit an absentee ballot application by mail: must be received by the board on or before March 23

Submit an absentee ballot application in-person: April 1

Return your voted absentee ballot by mail: Postmarked by April 2; BOE must receive your ballot by April 9

Return your voted absentee ballot in-person: April 2 by close of polls at 9pm

Primary Election - June 25, 2024

Registering to vote for the first time: June 15

Submit an address change: June 10

Submit an absentee ballot application by mail: must be received by the board on or before June 15

Submit an absentee ballot application in-person: June 24

Return your voted absentee ballot by mail: Postmarked by June 25; BOE must receive your ballot by July 2

Return your voted absentee ballot in-person: June 25 by close of polls at 9pm

General Election - November 5, 2024

Registering to vote for the first time: October 26

Submit an address change: October 21

Submit an absentee ballot application by mail: must be received by the board on or before October 26

Submit an absentee ballot application in-person: November 4

Return your voted absentee ballot by mail: Postmarked by November 5; BOE must receive your ballot by November 12th

Return your voted absentee ballot in-person: November 5 by close of polls at 9pm

There are 3 polling locations in Tuxedo.  Check your voting location at https://voterlookup.elections.ny.gov/.

Polls are open from 6am - 9pm

Districts 1&3          Tuxedo Town Hall,  1 Temple Dr. (upstairs in Community Room)

District 2                Sterling Forest Fire House, 1664 Long Meadow Rd.

District 4                Eagle Valley Fire House, 14 Scott Mine Rd.
