George Langberg, Town Historian

Since becoming Tuxedo’s historian a few years ago, George Langberg has prepared and delivered several presentations, solved some genealogical mysteries, and conducted extensive research on a variety of historical topics.

A lifelong Tuxedo resident, George follows previous town historians who have written various books, pamphlets, and "white papers" covering the town's history. He is currently working on a multimedia project designed to make as much of this output as possible available on the internet, along with other local history material, primarily in cooperation with the Tuxedo Historical Society.  Their joint hope is that ease of access may contribute to greater public interest in our shared history.
