Legal and PARIS Compliance Services

 

Tuxedo Farms Local Development Corporation

 

Response Due Date:  August 31, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.

 

 

The Tuxedo Farms Local Development Corporation (“TFLDC”) is seeking (1) professional legal services to assist with general corporate issues and (2) compliance assistance with the Public Authorities Accountability Act of 2005 and the Public Authorities Reform Act of 2009.

 

The TFLDC was formed on January 9, 2015 as a local development corporation pursuant to Section 1411 of the Not-for-Profit Corporation Law of the State of New York for the purpose of undertaking certain projects and initiatives within the Town of Tuxedo for the benefit and to relieve the burdens of the Town, including but not limited to undertaking certain financings through the issuance of tax-exempt and taxable bonds, notes and other instruments for the benefit of both for-profit and not-for-profit entities located within the Town of Tuxedo.

Proposals must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the requirements set forth in the Request for Proposals on or before the proposal submission/opening deadline of 2:00 p.m. on August 31, 2015.  The TFLDC reserves the right to reject any and all proposals submitted.

 

The initial qualifications review shall be completed by the Governance Committee of the TFLDC.  The final selection of the consultant firm will be made by the full Board of Directors of the TFLDC.

 

Following the preliminary selection of the preferred firm, a proposed professional service agreement, including a scope of work, budget and work schedule, will be negotiated between the firm and the TFLDC.
