David M McMillen - Republican
Principal Threat Analyst/Architect for IBM’s Internet Security Systems which operates as a Managed Security Systems Provider (MSSP). I specialize in reverse engineering network threats in an effort to design detection algorithms. My primary role is to perform deep level analysis on event patterns and malicious attacks that occur over large computer networks in order to provide mitigation and remediation recommendations to hundreds of customers across a wide array of industries both government and private sector. I am also charged with providing expert network level security analysis for 8 Security Operations Centers around the world. My wife and I were part of a core team of 5 people that started up this business for IBM in the late 1990’s and grew it into a large revenue producing offering for IBM which now employs over 450 personnel worldwide. My capabilities are extremely niche and I am called on frequently to assist in extremely high profile forensic examinations by various world organizations which include business, legal, government and law enforcement. I have over 30 years of experience in this realm and as a result have published many white papers in the industry. I also have invented several artificial intelligence based products and methods which are patented. My wife Kimberley also has identical skills and we work as a team. We both work at our home here in Tuxedo.
